What’s MovementBase?

MovementBase is your one-stop-shop for managing members, programs, and movements.

We are a new civic tech organization founded by former organizers and nonprofit executives, currently powering digital infrastructure for nine membership-based organizations that collectively serve over 328,000 people across the U.S. and Puerto Rico.

Our platform is modular, multilingual, and built to be affordable for “teams of one” as well as scalable for large, national nonprofits.

MovementBase’s theory of change is that by equipping membership-based organizations with the digital infrastructure they need to reclaim time, reduce burnout, and scale impact, their ability to reach and activate members can move mountains. We always prioritize trust, co-creation with our partners, and accessibility. We’ll never sell your data, sell to private equity, or sell out.

Mission & Values

MovementBase exists to empower values-aligned organizations—especially those with budgets under $1M—with operational technology that’s accessible, affordable, and designed for the real-world needs of nonprofits, mutual aid, student groups, and more.

Our vision is to be the trusted digital backbone for movements and organizations across the US and Puerto Rico, allowing organizations to focus on what they do best and love most: serving their communities.
